I am wrapping up month 3 here in Mozambique and to celebrate I give you "A Little Insight to Life in Lamego," Part 2.
Over the past 3 months I have been able to experience quite a few cultural differences; many shared in part 1. However, those experiences pale in comparison to the people that I have encountered.
Meet the people of Lamego Village. Although these are not all of the faces (since the population is roughly 6,000) you can still catch a glimpse of the beautiful people that live here.
This is the reason the Lamego Team has been put together. The reason so many of you have been praying and supporting our team. Not to simply enjoy an "African adventure," but to tell the Sena People that there is one true God, who loves them abundantly and sent His Son to pay for their sins so they may have eternal life. I hope these photos bring a bit of joy to your day, but more than anything that they would spur you on to pray and rejoice in what the Lord is doing here in Lamego.
